The HUTA POKÓJ Śląskie Zakłady Górniczo-Hutnicze S.A. (The HUTA POKÓJ Silesian Mining and Metallurgical Works S.A.) Concern is created based in Katowice. It consists, amongst others, of several steelworks (including for example, Baildon and Ferrum), four coal mines, ore and dolomite mines, a power plant, factories producing machines, steam boilers and wagons, a castings factory, machine and engine construction workshops, pipeline manufacturers and welding companies.
