GREEN POINT STADIUM, CAPE TOWN, RSA
HUTA POKÓJ S.A. supplied the structure of the Green Point Stadium facade in Cape Town, for which lightweight box profiles of complex geometry were delivered – 1937 components altogether (1 611tons). The stadium with a capacity of 69 thousand spectators was designed by an architecture practice which is also partially involved in the National Stadium project in Warsaw. The Green Point Stadium was where the World Cup Football Championship South Africa 2010 was held.
FOOTBALL STADIUM OF A SPORTS CLUB TS WISLA KRAKOW, KRAKOW, POLAND
HUTA POKÓJ S.A. delivered steel support structures of two stadium stands: the north stand (628 tons) and south stand (726 tons).
The main structure was made based on a plate girders system.
SILESIAN STADIUM, CHORZOW, POLAND
HUTA POKÓJ S.A. supplied the structure for the investment undertaking called “Roofing of the stands and essential technical infrastructure of the Silesian Stadium in Chorzów”.
We supplied and delivered over 7 000 tons of stand roofing structure, consisting of components ready for on-site assembly. The support structure is based on large-size box system.
The entire main support structure comprises: 40 components of the bottom ring, 40 parts of the top ring , 40 columns and 320 components of the purlins.
