COLD-FORMED SECTIONS
We’ve introduced the following new dimensions of square and rectangular hollow sections of
wall thickness 5 – 6 mm: 90 x 90, 100 x 100, 140 x 140, 120 x 80, 140 x 80, 160 x 80 mm.
We’ve got new production possibilities of light hollow sections: round, square
and rectangular of wall thickness up to 3 mm. These products can also be manufactured
of galvanized strip with an option of weld surfacing, i.e. coating it from
outside with an additional layer of zinc after the welding process is completed.
Light hollow sections are widely used for making light steel structures, e.g. halls,
greenhouses, scaffolding as well as gates, railings, fences and in the furniture
industry.
We offer precision hollow sections (round, square and rectangular), manufactured
of hot-rolled, cold-rolled or etched strip suitable for HF welding. These products
are used in e.g. automotive, machine and railway industries. Customers ordering
precision sections are also offered additional options of manufacture:
- exact cutting to length into segments up to 4 m,
- removal of internal flash,
- marking of sections by means of stamping system or ink (InkJet),
- eddy current tests.
HOT-ROLLED PRODUCTS
We’ve added a steel grade 16Mo3 to our offer of both thick plates
and hot-rolled sections. 16Mo3 is a steel grade used in construction mainly
in power industry, heat engineering and petrochemical industry. This grade performs
well in high temperature conditions.
As for thick plates we’ve extended our offer also by some other steel grades:
- P295GH and P355GH that are mostly for manufacturing pressure facilities
with specific properties in high temperature conditions,
- S275N, S275NL, S355N, S355NL, S420N, S420NL, S460N, S460NL that are used
in structures exposed to dynamic loads.
Plates made from steel grades with the letter L added to their symbols are suitable
for performing in low temperature conditions.
NEW SERVICES OFFERED
Cutting of cold-formed and hot-rolled sections:
- 90 degree mitre,
- 45 – 60 degree mitre,
- cutting tolerance +/- 2 mm,
- sections length 1.0 m – 12.0 m.
Plasma and flame exact cutting of plates:
- plasma method: max. plate thickness: 40 mm, max. plate size: 2850 x 6000 mm, max.
plate weight: 3 200 kg, cutting tolerance according to DIN 2310 T.4 standard,
- acetylene-oxygen method: max. plate thickness: 100 mm, max. plate size: 3000 x 15000
mm, max. plate weight: 10 000 kg, cutting tolerance according to PN-EN ISO 9013
standard.
