Silesian Stadium
Currently, HUTA POKÓJ S.A. supplies the structure for the investment undertaking
called “Roofing of the stands and essential technical infrastructure of the Silesian
Stadium in Chorzów”. We will supply and deliver over 7,000 tons of stand roofing
structure, consisting of components ready for on-site assembly. The support structure
will be based on large-size box system. To illustrate in detail, one segment
of the top compressed ring is 1.7 x 3.8 x 24.8 m, weighs 78 tons and the plates
used are up to 100 mm thick. The entire main support structure comprises: 40
components of the bottom ring, 40 columns and 40 parts of the top ring (while placing
only those components in a straight line, it would span across almost 3 kilometres).
The delivery of HUTA POKÓJ includes also the purlins.
Green Point Stadium in Cape Town, RSA HUTA POKÓJ S.A. supplied the structure
of the Green Point Stadium facade in Cape Town, for which lightweight box profiles
of complex geometry were delivered – 1937 components altogether. The stadium with
a capacity of 69 thousand spectators was designed by an architecture practice which
is also partially involved in the Stadium project in Warsaw. The Green
Point Stadium was where the World Cup Football Championship South Africa 2010 was
held.
Father Bernatek’s Bridge
The foot and bike bridge over Vistula River in Cracow which links the districts
of Kazimierz and Podgórze and is 125 m long. HUTA POKÓJ S.A. supplied the main tubular
support structure weighing 230 tons. The outer jacket 2020 mm, thickness 17.5 mm,
inner jacket 1620 mm, thickness 17.5 mm, length of single components 15 m.
WS-26 flyover the City of Poznań West Ring Road
The WS-26 flyover (arch-suspended structure) on the S11 National Road in the section
Złotkowo - A2 Highway (Głuchowo), within the City of Poznań West Ring Road. The
total weight of the structure was 3 000 tons.
HUTA POKÓJ S.A. delivered 1 500 tons of box structures (section of 1500
x 1800 mm), constituting the main support structure of the flyover (length of single
components 15 – 20 m).
Passenger terminal of Wrocław Airport
HUTA POKÓJ S.A. delivered roof truss and façade structure components of total weight
of 630 tons. Length of a single truss in the box structure is over 90 m.
Westfalen Power Plant RWE AG
HUTA POKÓJ S.A. delivered the support structure and electrostatic precipitator chamber
for two power units of the Westfalen Power Plant RWE AG in Germany of total weight
of 1 500 tons. The picture shows poles of the supporting structure for electrofilters.
Football stadium of a sports club TS Wisła Kraków
HUTA POKÓJ S.A. delivered steel support structures of two stadium stands: the north
stand (628 tons) and south stand (726 tons). The main structure was made based on
a plate girders system.
FUTURA Park Kraków
Steel construction elements for FUTURA Park Kraków complex in Modlniczka.
The building of 42 thousand square meters is scheduled to be opened in November 2011.
HUTA POKÓJ SA has completely supplied, carried out and erected the 700 ton roof construction.
