WE HELP THOSE IN NEED

Stowarzyszenie Pomocy Rodzinom Hutniczym (Steelworkers’ Families Help Association) organizes different forms of aid to people in difficult financial or life situation, and especially to those, whose family members are professionally involved with metallurgical industry.

Since 2005 the Association helped hundreds of people, mostly retired workers of HUTA POKÓJ. The Association also financed rehabilitation equipment and medical procedures performed on the seriously ill children of the workers of „HUTA POKÓJ” capital group.

The SPRH organization exists thanks to the generosity of HUTA POKÓJ and its subsidiaries, and above all thanks to people, who assign 1% of their income tax to that purpose. (According to Polish tax regulations any natural person completing PIT-36 and PIT-37 tax returns has the right to assign 1% of their income tax to a charitable organization of their choice.)

Our Association was founded on April 29, 2005, that is on the day when, upon Henryk Sławik’s (President of the Management Board of HUTA POKÓJ S.A.) initiative the Founding Committee of the Association was appointed.

SPRH was registered in the National Court Register on September 28, 2005 and on February 23, 2006 it received the status of a public benefit organization.

Ordinary Members of the Association include former and current employees of HUTA POKÓJ S.A., Euroblacha S.A., Euroserwis Sp. z o.o., Eurokonstrukcje Sp. z o.o. are Honorary Members.
