Conducting business under severe market competition and often in unfavourable overall economic conditions does not affect the fundamental values of HUTA POKÓJ – the Human Being is always of utmost importance for us.

HUTA POKÓJ sought to put into practice the idea of social responsibility based on respect for other Humans, and therefore developed the Association of Aid to Steelworkers’ Families (SPRH) which started operating in 2005 on the initiative of the President of the Management Board of HUTA POKÓJ S.A. Henryk Sławik.

The object of business of the Association is to organise various forms of help for people in a difficult economic or life situation, and in particular for members of families associated with the metallurgical industry. More than one thousand people have already benefited from the support provided by SPRH.

The aid is granted for instance in the form of purchase of rehabilitation equipment, organising and financing of specialist medical procedures, purchase of medicine or arrangement of summer holidays for children and young people. SPRH also provides funds directly to people in need (such as large families or pensioners) to mitigate their difficult economic conditions.

The Association can operate only thanks to the generosity of HUTA POKÓJ S.A. and of its subsidiaries, as well as of a growing group of people of kind heart who donate 1% of their income tax every year.

To donate 1% of your tax, just enter the following details in the appropriate boxes of your annual tax return:

• name of the organisation: STOWARZYSZENIE POMOCY RODZINOM HUTNICZYM,
• number of entry in the National Court Register (KRS): 0000241090
• the amount equal to 1% of your tax, according to the instructions on the form.

THE ASSOCIATION OF AID TO STEELWORKERS’ FAMILIES is entered on the list of public benefit organisations. It has the legal statute of such an organisation, meaning that it is entitled to receive one (1) percent of personal income tax. SPRH’s entry in the register can be checked on the list published by the Minister of Labour and Social Policy with the approval of the Minister of Justice in the Official Journal of the Republic of Poland – Monitor Polski, or on the website www.pozytek.gov.pl.
